The Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) system, also known as the High Strain Dynamic Load Test, is a rapid and efficient solution for dynamic load testing and monitoring during steel pile driving operations. This non-destructive method assesses pile integrity, driving stresses, and hammer energy during pile installation, ensuring quality control, confirming capacity, and optimizing pile driving operations.
Static load testing is used to assess the performance of foundation piles under static compression loads. By applying gradual and controlled forces, the test provides insights into the pile’s load-bearing capacity and settlement behavior. Ideal for quality assurance and design validation, static load testing ensures that foundation piles meet project requirements. Additionally, using this test allows for a lower factor of safety in pile design and sizing, which can lead to significant construction cost savings.
Load Test (PLT): Plate load testing is a reliable field method used to evaluate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil and estimate potential settlement under static loading conditions for subgrade bearing capacity assessment.
Pile installation monitoring is used for Quality Control and Assurance (QA/QC) and verifying that piles are installed according to design and installation requirements and specifications. This process applies to Caisson, Driven, and Helical Piles, ensuring that their structural integrity and performance meet construction specifications and pile termination criteria.
